Creativebloke photography tip : Nothing wrong with being square!

So I am sat trawling through Aperture on a Saturday night………theres something not right with that last statement.

Anyway. I had taken this picture of a rose and it was ok, but it needed something more.

the original in all its hey-ho ness!A standard crop didn’t help, but a square one did, with the flower now centered and the rule of thirds doing its magic with the flower’s top the photo was more exciting.
Then a run through the NIK (Dfine and Colorfx pro in this case) plugins set, all of a sudden we had a much more ‘emblematic’ little photie!
